Keep side windows from freezing shut. De icer contains ice melting chemicals that prevent freezing. Put some wd 40 onto a rag and wipe the seal area with it. To prevent the doors from freezing shut try using vasoline on the rubber strip the goes around your doors and windows. Spray de icer on the outside of a window along a window opening to keep it from freezing shut.
Spray a paper towel generously and wipe the side and top weatherstrips. A little goes a long way with silicone lubricant you don t need to saturate things with a direct blast. Most de icing products have immediate. My suggestion would be to pull out the window and clean everything really well to make sure nothing is gumming things up.
Then i would use a clean rag and wipe all the areas where the window contacts the frame with a good quality silicone lubricant. Silicone spray lubricant won t hurt the paint on your car. You could lower the windows and spray the gasket but i think that mountainbike s suggestion is better.
